Our staff of experienced veterinarians has varied interests in pet wellness care, nutritional counseling, veterinary internal medicine, dental care, veterinary surgery, ultrasonagraphy, radiography, endoscopy, and acupuncture. Specialized veterinary medical care is available through referral to our Rochester veterinary specialty practice, Veterinary Specialists of Rochester, in the areas of surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, advanced imaging, dentistry, and herbal medicine.
The veterinary nursing staff at the Animal Hospital of Pittsford consists of 10 licensed veterinary technicians with 2 and 4-year degrees and advanced training in veterinary dentistry, anesthesiology, physical therapy and obedience training. Our 8 animal care assistants are available to assist the veterinary doctors and nurses with your pet's care and to help answer any questions you may have.
Our kennel staff is dedicated to providing comfort and love to all our hospitalized pets as well as our boarding guests. We have an indoor, climate controlled boarding facility for dogs, cats, and some exotics. We specialize in diabetic and geriatric pet boarding and boarders with specific medical needs.
